PhilosophyThis section is devoted to general information on Libertarian philosophy
and my personal application of Libertarianism. These will provide more than enough to get you started on the basics. This page is continuously under development based on the feedback I receive from you. Please ask all the questions you can think of. FundamentalsThe Libertarian philosophy is based upon the Non-aggression Principle(NAP). The NAP holds that it is wrong to initiate aggression to accomplish social or political goals. This is also known as a Zero Aggression Principle. Most Libertarians believe that Aggression can be used as a response to attack or credible threat of attack. There are also those who believe that Aggression is never justified. In my experience, these are a minority, although they can be quite vocal. So, how does this affect practical politics? Any social or political question, of any complexity, can be analyzed in relation to the Non-agression Principle. At the most basic level, you can do anything you want in your life as long as you are not interfering with the rights of another to do whatever they want with their lives. Now think about that. That is true liberty, the freedom to live you life as you see fit.
